A company claims to have invented HEALTHY junk food . That is, food that we usually would avoid if we wanted to shift a few pounds.
NUFF (Natural Unprocessed Fat-burning Food) has created alternative sweet treats which, they say, "bridge the gap between nutrition and pure indulgence.'
The NUFF products are high in protein, healthy fats and fibre whilst being low on sugar, saturated fats and starchy carbohydrates.
NUFFIt looks just like a regular glazed doughnut - but isn't as bad for you
What's more, they say their baked goods include nutrition-rich superfoods such as raw cacao, nuts, fruit, coconut oil and whey.
Why is that a good thing? Well, these ingredients promote leaner muscle, increased metabolism, better brain function and better eye and skin health.
This all sounds too good to be true, but CEO Kevin McLoughlin, 27, insists they've created a product people will still enjoy.
He said: "Fundamentally it had to taste as good as, or even better than the junk food already available out there - otherwise why eat it?
"So we focused on making our treats indistinguishable in every way bar nutrition.
"I've tried a lot of the 'healthy' alternatives before and they always fell incredibly short and left a lot to be desired."
